HOUSING STARTS IN CALIFORNIA INCREASE 9.2 PERCENT IN JUNE

Building permits issued for single-family homes in California rose 9.2 percent to 3,954 in June compared with May but remain 54.9 percent below where they were for the same period a year ago, according to new data from the California Building Industry Association.
